← All technology familiesKeep the purpose narrow
Begin with document organisation, source-version tracking and handoff preparation. A system that recommends diagnosis or treatment introduces a different intended use and evaluation burden. The interface must make its actual role clear.
Make the source inspectable
Show the originating record, relevant version and missing information beside any generated summary. Give the reviewer a direct correction path and retain what changed. Use appropriate test data during evaluation rather than exposing patient information in public demonstrations.
Evaluate before clinical use
Clinical deployment requires assessment for the actual jurisdiction and intended use. FDA clinical decision-support guidance is one reference for US classification questions, not a certification for KEDDEH. No clinical outcome benefit is established by the current mesh tests.
A practical example
An authorised reviewer checks a prepared handoff against its source records, corrects it and approves the final document. The system retains the review history and does not independently select treatment.
This explanation identifies the workflow and its boundaries; it does not claim a live operation.
