Keddeh / Design & delivery

Consider every layer.
Deliver the whole system.

Good engineering becomes useful when people can understand it, work with it and trust what it does. Design connects the architecture to that experience.

From the first task to the recovery path: one considered journey, with a clear purpose for every layer.

01 / The delivery method

Make decisions.
Make them visible.

Each stage produces something tangible. The evidence travels with the delivery, so the next person can understand what was built and what remains.

01Understand

Start with the person and the task.

Define the audience, the problem, the intended result and the conditions in which the system will be used.

Delivery: Brief, user journey, acceptance criteria.

02Design

Make the system legible.

Resolve information architecture, visual hierarchy, interaction states and component responsibilities together.

Delivery: Page map, design tokens, interaction specification, architecture boundaries.

03Build

Connect the real mechanisms.

Implement the complete journey with explicit identity, durable data and transport contracts.

Delivery: Versioned source, working interactions, integration bindings.

04Prove

Exercise the difficult conditions.

Test the task, permission boundaries, missing data, worker failure and recovery. Measure performance rather than promise it.

Delivery: Task results, recovery evidence, accessibility checks, measured performance.

05Deliver

Leave an operable system.

Publish the tested revision. Record its destination, dependencies, current limitations and restore procedure.

Delivery: Source revision, deployment receipt, runbook, rollback reference.

02 / Applied to Keddeh

Specific systems.
Specific responsibilities.

VFS / Knowledge custody

From source to a usable library.

Purpose
Preserve original files and make their provenance inspectable.
Journey
Retain bytes → private GitHub custody → verify remote bytes → classify → VFS admission.
Proof
Source identity, byte length, content digest and an actual VFS readback.
Recovery
Keep a durable import record; resume from the last verified stage.
Explore the technology library
KEX / Session recovery

An experience that explains recovery.

Purpose
Maintain session identity while replacing a failed carrier.
Journey
Suspect → fence old worker → restore checkpoint → reconnect → first new frame.
Proof
Lease generation, checkpoint version, transport generation and acknowledged input progress.
Recovery
Show reconnection clearly; reconcile uncertain actions before replaying them.
Explore KEX

These are design and verification contracts. They do not certify that every integration or recovery path is already deployed.

03 / The experience standard

Useful in the
real conditions.

Clear at every size.

Readable type, deliberate spacing and a hierarchy that carries from a large display to a phone.

Complete at every state.

Loading, empty results, denied access, failed requests and recovery are part of the design. Keep people informed and preserve their work.

Honest at every release.

Separate what is planned, implemented, tested and deployed. Explain limitations alongside the capability they affect.

04 / Take the standard forward

The quality should travel
with every delivery.
