ClaimPath / Accountable claim records

Your record.
Your evidence.
Your choice.

From the appliances in your kitchen to the evidence behind a claim. Capture the details once, keep the basis of each cost visible and prepare a report you control.

Start with what you own

A photo.
A model label.
A clearer record.

Walk through your rooms. Photograph each appliance in place, then its brand and model label. Add a receipt, condition photos and a high-value flag where more detail matters.

One item. Connected evidence.

Identity → Evidence → Cost → Report

Keep model and serial numbers alongside photos. Record the original purchase separately from replacement estimates, supplier offers and upgrade options. Each price entry retains its source, observation date and comparison basis.

Your exported package includes the attached evidence. Nothing is submitted automatically.

Evidence before assumptions

A report that shows its working.

Capture with context

Setup, label, receipt and condition photos make the item identifiable. High-value items receive their own supporting detail.

Keep cost accountable

Record sourced prices without replacing the original facts. A candidate replacement, an upgrade and an insurer allowance remain distinct entries.

Control the package

Download a report with embedded photos and attached receipts. Review it, print it or retain a portable backup before you choose how to share it.

The broader ClaimPath service

Claim management.
Across the things that matter.

Contents, motor vehicle and home damage are distinct claim sectors within the ClaimPath vision. The current workspace provides the contents capture and reporting workflow.

From documentation to fulfilment

The planned service connects reports, ongoing management and optional replacement purchasing. Customers choose the replacement that suits them. The planned purchasing service pools compatible demand to seek better supplier prices, showing the available allowance, delivered cost and any customer contribution before an order is accepted.

Automated supplier sourcing, live purchasing, subscriptions and fulfilment accounts are not yet connected to this workspace.

Keep control of your information.

Records and attachments currently stay in this browser. Back up your record and evidence before clearing browser data. The package is prepared for your review; ClaimPath does not submit it to an insurer.

The calculation and its limits

How the replacement estimate works.

Enter the item quantity and dated, sourced low and high prices in Australian dollars (AUD) per item. ClaimPath multiplies the quantity by each price to show a line range. The midpoint is the average of the entered bounds. A planning percentage is optional, entered by you, and labelled as a calculation rather than a retailer quote.

What would assessment cost?

Enter a technician's quoted total, or the number of units that need assessment and an AUD rate per unit. ClaimPath multiplies those units by the rate. It records one shared visit fee separately so the same call-out is not counted against each item.

What does the comparison answer?

The current route adds replacement, assessment and disposal line totals. The proposed route adds delivered replacement, handling or disposal, and administration line totals. Enter the source or planning basis behind those amounts. A blank remains unknown; zero means you explicitly entered no cost. The difference compares your entries and is not an insurer decision or a promise of savings.

UNDERSTAND THE ARCHITECTURE

A claim is a connected account of what happened.

ClaimPath brings the property, contents, event and supporting references into a record you can review before sharing.

01

Build a useful inventory

Start with the rooms, then describe individual items. Brand, model, quantity, estimated value and condition provide context that a bare item name cannot. Suggested items are a starting point; review them against what is actually present.

02

Connect the event to the contents

An event does not necessarily affect every room or item. Recording the date, circumstances and affected areas helps preserve the relationship between the general inventory and the particular claim. Policy and claim references keep that working record identifiable.

03

Keep evidence close to the assertion

Record a photo, receipt or document reference alongside the relevant item. The current workspace stores references rather than uploading evidence files. Review the structured export or printable report, and keep an independent copy of your browser-held record.

Does ClaimPath decide or submit the claim?

The current application organises your information. It does not decide insurance coverage or submit a claim to an insurer. You review and choose how to share the output.

Open ClaimPath and turn the details you already know into a structured record.
